These terms govern your use of Clarity, a Google Sheets add-on for financial advisors. By installing or using Clarity, you agree to them. If you are subscribing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
Clarity is a portfolio dashboard tool that reads data from your Google Sheet and presents it as an interactive interface for you and your clients. It is a presentation and organisation tool. It is not financial software, and it does not provide financial advice, recommendations, or regulated services of any kind. Calculations shown in the dashboard are illustrative only.
Clarity is intended for licensed financial advisors and professionals. By subscribing, you confirm that you hold any licences required to conduct financial advisory work in your jurisdiction and that you take responsibility for how Clarity's output is used with clients.
Clarity is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
If payment fails, access to the dashboard will be suspended until payment is resolved. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. This applies to annual subscriptions as well as monthly ones: cancelling part-way through a term ends renewal but does not refund the remainder of the term already paid for.
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

Do not use Clarity to store or process data you are not authorised to hold.
We may offer to build a migration script that converts one existing spreadsheet layout into the Clarity format. This is an optional courtesy, not part of the subscription, and we may decline any layout we are not able to support.
Any such script is provided as-is, with no warranty that it will interpret your data correctly or completely. Its output is a draft. You run the script yourself within your own Google account, and you are responsible for verifying every figure it produces against your own records before relying on it or presenting it to a client. We do not require, request, or accept your clients' personal data in order to build it.
You may use Clarity for your own client advisory work. You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label Clarity without written permission. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the add-on or circumvent subscription controls.
Clarity and its underlying code remain the property of Viper Gears Private Limited. Your data — the content of your Google Sheets — remains yours. We claim no rights over it.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Clarity depends on Google Workspace, which is subject to its own terms and availability. We are not liable for outages caused by Google or other third parties.
To the extent permitted by law, Clarity is provided as-is. We are not liable for any financial loss, client disputes, or regulatory consequences arising from your use of the dashboard. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the subscription fees you paid during that period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time using the manage-subscription link in your Stripe billing emails, or by writing to us. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where possible. In cases of serious misuse, we may terminate immediately.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Clarity after that date constitutes acceptance.
